Sativa Fisher

Sativa is known to be engaging and relaxed working with her clients. She will meet her clients where they are at, which means just come as you are. Clients do not need any experience when working with Sativa, as she will help guide you through your healing journey.

Sativa has worked with a variety of ages over the years and has especially enjoyed working with youth and adolescents. Youth and adolescents tend to gravitate to her fun and engaging personality which makes for a meaningful therapeutic relationship. Sativa will help bring out the most in therapy for her clients utilizing an eclectic variety of evidence-based practices including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy styles.

Throughout a client’s journey with Sativa they may work on improving self-esteem, communication skills,  coping skills, moods, relational concerns, and general life patterns.

Clients will have the opportunity to address negative core beliefs and traumatic experiences in a safe, compassionate, and confidential environment. Clients will leave sessions with Sativa with the knowledge and skills to be successful despite symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma.

Sativa has known from a young age that she wanted to be a part of people’s healing journeys but it wasn’t until college when she realized social work was her calling. Sativa holds a strong faith in God and is active in her church.  She offers Christian counseling if the clients desire. Sativa also enjoys creating in many forms, such as music, art, and theater.
